Preston Mutinda Wildlife Foundation is a non-governmental organization registered under the section 10 of the Non-Governmental Organizations Co-ordination Act in Kenya.

A board of directors governs Preston Mutinda Wildlife Foundation. The Foundation also has many other registered members.

Our aim is to save the last remaining wildlife for the future generation.

Objectives

To use projects and education as tools:

  • To involve communities living near wildlife conservancies on the importance and benefits of conserving the environment for both people and animals.

  • To serve as a model of conservation possibilities and behaviors that adult, families, out of school youth, and school children can embrace.

  • To contribute to the creation of new and effective methods of wildlife education which will enable both individuals and communities to assume greater responsibility towards wildlife and environmental conservation.

  • To extend its efforts to develop locally sustainable and appropriate wildlife conservation technologies and use of resources with particular attention to energy, water, agriculture and human settlement without affecting our wildlife.

  • To identify the needs of animals especially ones near extinction and to come up with methods to prevent their diminishing in numbers or becoming extinct.

  • To provide training and other services in the areas of wildlife conservation and to discourage poaching of wildlife by creating public awareness.
